It is 03:10 on Friday, October 30, 2026 in Canary, Spain. The city runs on UTC+0 (WET), which puts it 3 hours ahead of Brasília.
Time zone and UTC offset in Canary
Canary follows the Atlantic/Canary time zone, abbreviated WET. Right now its offset from Coordinated Universal Time is UTC+0.
Standard time is in effect at the moment, and Canary does observe daylight saving time. The next change comes on Sunday, March 28, 2027 at 01:00: clocks go forward 1 hour, so at 01:00 the clock jumps to 02:00 and the offset becomes UTC+1. From that day the difference from Brasília is 4 hours ahead. The change after that is on Sunday, October 31, 2027 at 02:00.
Time difference between Brasília and Canary
To convert, take Brasília time and add 3 hours; when the sum passes midnight, the date in Canary is already the next day. The table uses today's offsets.
Going the other way, local noon in Canary is 09:00 in Brasília, and local midnight is 21:00 (previous day) in Brasília. Because Canary is ahead, its calendar date is one day later than in Brasília from 21:00 until midnight Brasília time. Keep this in mind for deadlines, flights and anything scheduled around the start or end of a day.
| Brasília (UTC-3) | Canary (UTC+0) |
|---|---|
| 06:00 | 09:00 |
| 09:00 | 12:00 |
| 12:00 | 15:00 |

| 18:00 | 21:00 |
| 21:00 | 00:00 (next day) |
Best time to call Canary from Brazil
Taking a 9:00 to 18:00 working day on both sides, the shared window runs from 09:00 to 15:00 in Brasília, which is 12:00 to 18:00 in Canary. That leaves 6 hours of overlap: enough for most meetings, but book early. Because Canary changes its clocks, this window shifts by one hour after the next change.
For several cities at once, use the meeting planner, or convert any hour with the time zone converter.
